Control of red rice through sowing systems
In field trials in Rio Grande do Sul, rice BR-IRGA 409 was sown during Dec. on ground artificially infested with red rice in early Nov. and subsequently left untreated or treated with 4 litres glyphosate or 3 litres HBT 145/ha. Other plots were treated with 2 litres Goal BR 1 litre Ronstar (oxadiazon) or 5 litres Satanil E ha at flooding, drained and sown with pre-sprouted rice seed. HBT 145 was phytotoxic.
