Control of root-knot nematodes on Solanum khasianum by chemical bare-root dips

In a pot experiment, roots of S. khasianum seedlings were dipped in solutions of fenamiphos or aldicarb sulfone (250, 500, 1000 or 2000 ppm) for 15 min, 30 min and 2 h. Seedlings were then inoculated with 500 Meloidogyne incognita larvae/pot. Both root dips were effective at controlling M. incognita even at the lowest dosage and minimum period of exposure.
