Of the 7 fungicides tested, Difolatan (captafol), thiram and Vitavax (carboxin) were the most effective against colony growth and sporulation of Alternaria alternata, Colletotrichum capsici, Curvularia clavata, Curvularia lunata Drechslera rostrata and Macrophomina phaseolina.
