Control of stem canker and black-scurf with a sprayable formulation of tolclofos-methyl applied to seed potatoes out of store



Crop Protection in Northern Britain 1987: 139-145



A suspension concentrate formulation of tolclofos-methyl applied to potatoes out of store was compared with the commercially recommended dust formulation applied at planting in 13 trials in Scotland and northern England in 1985-86. At equivalent rates of a.i. (125 and 250 g a.i./t) the suspension concentrate formulation gave at least equivalent disease (Rhizoctonia solani) control to the dust.
