Control of the coreid bug pest on coconut

A multilocational trial conducted in Trivandrum District (Kerala) [India] for the control of Paradasynus rostratus Dist. (Coreidae: Hemiptera) damaging coconut, using carbaryl, BHC and endosulfan each at two dosages showed that sprays of carbaryl 0.1% and HCH 0.2% controlled the pest effectively.
