In field trials against F. oxysporum f.sp. dianthi, the nematicidal fumigant DD slightly reduced disease severity; benomyl and captafol, at high dosages (10-20 g a.i./msuperscript 2) were moderately effective and Trichoderma spp. were completely ineffective.
