In Lithuanian White pigs, age at 95 kg averaged 178 days, av. daily gain 753 g, and consumption of FU/kg gain 3.77. The first 2 figures represented improvements of 28 days and 133 g over the previous 20 yr. Carcass length increased from 95 to 96 cm, loin-eye area from 28 to 31.5 cmsuperscript 2, and ham weight from 9.5 to 10.8 kg.
