Detection of scrapie-associated fibrils as an aid to the diagnosis of natural sheep scrapie

Detection of scrapie-associated fibrils as an aid to the diagnosis of natural sheep scrapie

Veterinary Record 120(12): 280-281

Scrapie-associated fibrils were demonstrated by electron microscopy in the brain of all 12 sheep with clinically suspected scrapie from a number of flocks, but not in the brain of 4 normal sheep, 2 of which were from a scrapie flock.
