Determination of Zn, Cd, Pb, Cu, Sb and Bi in milk by differential pulse anodic stripping voltammetry with a hanging mercury drop electrode following two independent mineralisation methods

Determination of Zn, Cd, Pb, Cu, Sb and Bi in milk by differential pulse anodic stripping voltammetry with a hanging mercury drop electrode following two independent mineralisation methods

Analusis 13(10): 471-473

The application of differential pulse anodic stripping voltammetry (DPASV) is described for estimation of Zn, Cd, Pb, Cu, Sb and Bi in milk after preliminary destruction of organic matter by low temp. ashing (LTA) and bomb-digestion methods. Use of the teflon bomb for ashing biological material produced extracts suitable for estimation of volatile metals by DPASV and allowed simultaneous estimation of 6 elements, for routine analysis of large numbers of samples.
