Effect of growth regulators on emergence, herb and oil yields of Mentha species

Separate field trials were carried out with M. arvensis, M. piperita and M. spicata. The treatments consisted of 4 concentrations (1, 5, 10 and 15 p.p.m.) of GA and IAA, plus a control (water soaking/spraying). Two methods, viz. sucker treatment and foliar application of the growth regulators, were tried.
