Highest paddy yields of the intensive type rice Spal'chik and Zhemchuzhnyi, grown on a meadow chernozem soil with various NPK rates, were obtained with applications of 120 kg N + 90 kg P2O5 + 60 kg K2O/ha; seed quality was also best in this treatment.
