In trials carried out during 1982-84, cultivars WR Green 60, WR Victor, Oriental King, Nagaoka Late, Nippon Sprint and Hongkong Hybrid were provided with 60, 180 or 360 kg N/ha as boron-containing ammonium sulphate nitrate. The cabbages were harvested during the first half of Oct. and stored at 0-1 degrees C and 90% RH for 40 or 80 days.
