17 Landrace X Large White primiparous sows that had farrowed in Aug. were fed ad lib. (group 1), or their feed intakes were restricted (group 2) during lactation. Litter sizes were equalised after farrowing, and piglets were not allowed creep feed. Weaning was carried out 23.8+or-0.4 days after farrowing.
