Effect of the ratio of vitamins A and E in feed on protein digestibility, utilization of feedstuffs and growth of piglets

Veterinarski Glasnik 41(7-8): 607-611
Effect of the ratio of vitamins A and E in feed on protein digestibility, utilization of feedstuffs and growth of piglets
Dutch-Yorkshire pigs were given from 8 to 42 days old diets with 24 or 22% protein, vitamin A 17 500-22 000 IU and vitamin E 8-33 mg/kg such that vitamin E was 0.6, 1.0 or 1.5 mg/1000 IU vitamin A. Growth was better with 24 than with 22% protein and the last vitamin ratio was best.
