Effect of triadimefon and S-3307 on plant growth and ozone response of okra

Effect of triadimefon and S-3307 on plant growth and ozone response of okra

Research and Development Reporter 4(2): 119-124

The responses of the Pusa Sawani to the fungicide triadimefon and the growth retardant S-3307 were investigated in 2 separate experiments under controlled environments. A soil drench of triadimefon (30 mg/litre) increased stem FW and plant height, and a seed treatment with S-3307 (0.075 g/kg seeds) decreased leaf and stem FW and DW and leaf area, and reduced plant height. Both triadimefon and S-3307 increased total leaf chlorophyll and carotenoids, compared with the control plants.
