Effects of calcium and nitrogen on blossom-end rot of tomato fruit under unheated plastic houses

Spraying with CaCl2 (1%) reduced the incidence of blossom-end rot, and increased the Ca content of the leaves and fruits. Increasing the N fertilization rate to 60 g/msuperscript 2 increased the incidence of blossom-end rot.
