Effects of certain i.v. anaesthetics on liver blood flow and hepatic oxygen consumption in the greyhound

Effects of certain i.v. anaesthetics on liver blood flow and hepatic oxygen consumption in the greyhound

British Journal of Anaesthesia 58(1): 69-80

Dose-related decreases in general cardiovascular indices and a decrease in liver blood flow, but relatively little change in liver oxygen consumption were observed when greyhounds were anaesthetized with thiopentone, Althesin (alphaxalone and alphadolone) or pentobarbitone.
