Effects of choline chloride and its analogues on photosynthesis in wheat protoplasts

Proceedings of the Plant Growth Regulator Society of America: 131-134

The rate of photosynthetic oxygen evolution and CO2 fixation in protoplasts from wheat seedlings sprayed with chlormequat 8 days after sowing slightly increased compared with protoplasts from control plants but mono-substituted choline analogues such as ethylcholine and allylcholine treatment produced a greater increase.
