Effects of cold storage of adult Anaphes ovijentatus on survival, longevity, and oviposition

Effects of cold storage of adult Anaphes ovijentatus on survival, longevity, and oviposition

Southwestern Entomologist, 113: 149-153

Adults of the mymarid Anaphes ovijentatus, a parasite of Lygus spp. in the USA, were stored at 1.7, 4.4, 7.2 and 10.0 degrees C for 2, 4 and 8 weeks. Survival of storage, length of life after storage and progeny production in the eggs of L. hesperus tended to be lower as temperature and storage time increased.
