Effects of concentrated rapeseed protein on growing rabbits

Effects of concentrated rapeseed protein on growing rabbits

Chinese Journal of Animal Science (2): 20-22

A total of 150 Sichuan crossbred white rabbits after weaning were given a newly developed rapeseed protein concentrate (RPC) with crude protein content about 53.4%, and with glucosinolate content 90% lower than that of normal rapeseed cake. Results indicated that when 7.0% of silkworm chrysalis and soyabean in diets were replaced by RPC, there was no significant difference in average daily gain and feed conversion efficiency.
