Effects of continuous low-dose anthelmintic treatment with phenothiazine on calf liveweight performance

Effects of continuous low-dose anthelmintic treatment with phenothiazine on calf liveweight performance

Irish Veterinary News 10(4): 20-23

Three of 4 groups of 10 Friesian calves on divided plots on the same pasture were given phenothiazine suspension at 10 mg/kg daily in the first of 2 grazing seasons. To discover any cumulative effect on pasture infestation in the second season, new calves on 2 of the plots received 5-7 mg/kg.
