Effects of diazinon, fensulfothion and isazophos on predatory invertebrates in pasture

Effects of diazinon, fensulfothion and isazophos on predatory invertebrates in pasture

Proceedings of the Thirty Ninth New Zealand Weed and Pest Control Conference Quality Inn, Palmerston North, August 12th to 14th, 1986: 117-121

The relative toxicity of fensulfothion, isazofos and diazinon to predacious arthropods from pastures in New Zealand was determined by topical application, soil bioassays and field trials. The elaterid Conoderus exsul, the carabid Rhytisternus miser and the staphylinid Thyreocephalus orthodoxus were susceptible to varying degrees to all 3 insecticides. Isazophos showed consistently high toxicity to all groups of predators in the laboratory and field.
