A mixed diet with 2% calcium as granules from limestone from 2 sources or the same given as 3.25% in the morning feed or 4.25% in the evening feed was given to 100 Albo 70 laying hens 34 to 38 weeks old. Controls were given 3.5% Ca from oyster shells. Ca utilization increased in all experimental groups.
