Effects of differential irrigation on the growth and yield of faba bean in the Selaim Basin of Sudan

In field experiments during 1985-86, faba beans Selaim local were irrigated at 14- 21- or 28-day intervals before flowering and 10- or 14-day intervals after flowering. Plant height 3 months after sowing ranged from 84 cm with 28-day preflowering + 10-day postflowering intervals to 108 cm with 14- + 14-day intervals.
