Effects of differential nitrogen fertilizer application to permanent grass swards utilized as meadows or pastures on the nutrient balance. II. Proportions and changes in soil nutrients and meadow hay mineral content in relation to fertilizer application

Pol' nohospodarstvo 32(4): 292-302

In 8-year field trials on a permanent grassland (Festuco-commutatae-Cynosuretum subassociation Arrhenatheretosum) given 0, 50, 150 or 300 kg N + 32 kg P + 66 kg K/ha, hay P and K contents were increased by P and K fertilizers and soil P and K levels were reduced particularly with pasture compared with meadow utilization.
