Effects of dikegulac-sodium on developmental stages, senescence and yield of sunflower

Effects of dikegulac-sodium on developmental stages, senescence and yield of sunflower

Environment and Ecology 6(1): 49-52

Application of 100 and 500 micro g dikegulac-sodium/ml to dwarf sunflower Morden at the preheading stage delayed the head initiation, ray floret opening, head yellowing and harvest. Dikegulac at 100 micro g increased DM accumulation, chlorophyll and protein contents and catalase activity in the leaves and seed yields; at the highest concn it showed inhibitory effects.
