Effects of drying regimes for narcissus leaves on their galanthamine content

Results of laboratory and production trials are reported. Drying temperatures up to 80 degrees C did not affect the galanthamine content of leaves, but > 80 degrees decreased it markedly compared with natural drying (in the shade at about 20 degrees ).
