Effects of electrostatic charging and vertical air current on deposition of pesticide on cotton plant canopy



Agricultural Mechanization in Asia, Africa and Latin America 19(1): 55-60



The influence of electrostatic force and vertical air current on pesticide deposits, obtained by cone, fan and disc type nozzles, on the cotton plant canopy were investigated. Pesticide deposit quantities and relative deposition rates were determined and compared. The deposit was detected by fluorometry using a tracer.
