Effects of endosulfan and malathion toxication on the amino acid nitrogen and proline concentration in the male and female pupal haemolymph of Spodoptera litura Fab

Pupae of the noctuid Spodoptera litura of known age and sex were dipped in 0.1% endosulfan or 0.2% malathion (about the LD50). Treatment caused significant reductions in the concentrations of amino acid nitrogen and proline.
