When applied in water or with oxysorbic (20 POE) adjuvant, 6-13% of glyphosate was absorbed in C. arvensis plants developed in high light intensity and low humidity compared with 17-26% in plants grown in low light, high humidity conditions; this was considered to be related to the amount of epicuticular wax on the leaves. 20 POE had no effect on glyphosate absorption which was increased 2- to 3-fold with MON 0818.
