Effects of fat, copper and B-vitamin supplementation on performance of growing-finishing swine

A total of 192 pigs were used in 2 trials to evaluate the effects of dietary additions of 5% fat, copper 200 micro g/g and riboflavin, niacin, pantothenic acid and vitamin B-12. The added dietary fat increased rate of gain, reduced feed intake and improved feed efficiency. B vitamins added to the diet increased gains and feed intake but did not affect feed efficiency.
