Effects of fertilization on the uptake of 54Mn and 60Co by tomato and alfalfa

Uptake of 54Mn and 60Co by tomatoes and Medicago sativa grown in pots of soil from 3 locations in the Po valley was lower in soils given NPK than in unfertilized soils. This effect was less marked in the acid soil (pH 6.0) and for tomatoes.
