Effects of fertilization, time and height of cutting on regrowth of tropical grasses

The cutting methods and regrowth of 4 tropical species in the Hokuriku district of Japan were studied. In 1983, green panic (Panicum maximum var. trichoglume), fall panic Rhodegrass and African millet (Pennisetum americanum) were used and regenerated leaf and stem weight at 3 weeks after cutting was measured. In 1984, green panic and African millet were used and growth analysis was performed.
