Field trials in 1981-83 studied the effects on germination, growth, DM production, starch value, digestible CP yield and changes in nitrate-N and soluble carbohydrate contents of L. multiflorum grown without irrigation and given 24 combinations of N, P and K in the ranges 0-360, 0-120 and 0-180 kg/ha, resp.
