Effects of frost damage and pre-harvest sprouting on the feeding value of barley for pigs

Effects of frost damage and pre-harvest sprouting on the feeding value of barley for pigs

Agriculture and Forestry Bulletin, University of Alberta (Special Issue): 10-12

When growing Large White X Lacombe pigs were given diets containing barley 80 and soyabean meal 16% sprouting of the barley (18.7 and 6.9%) did not affect digestibility of DM, protein and energy in intestines, weight gain, feed intake and feed conversion.
