Evaluation of fertilizer response by inverse quadratic model

A comparative study of quadratic, inverse quadratic and linear-plateau models used for the evaluation of fertilizer response showed that inverse quadratic model involved less computational labour and was found to be a better fit and having an edge over the linear-plateau and quadratic models. An inverse quadratic response surface was found to be useful when responses after initial rising began to increase rapidly and further increase in dose brought down the responses.
