The travelling and turning performances of 2 forestry vehicles on flat land and an experimental slope were compared. The vehicles were an 8 wheeled transport with hydrostatic transmission and skid steering system (1000 kg max. laden weight), and a rubber-tracked transport with a clutch-brake steering system (750 kg max. laden weight).
