Abstract
Wheat grain of cv. Partizanka, Bezostaya, Nova Banatka, Kragujevcanka 56, Novosadska Rana 1, Novosadska Rana 2, Krajinka, Libelula and Zlatna Dolina grown at several sites near Negotin was analysed for content of proteins and amino acids. Bezostaya contained most protein (13.8-14.6%) and Zlatna Dolina least (11.2-13.0%). Essential amino acids comprised 35% of total amino acids; of these, leucine was the most prominent (7.44-8.12%).
