, : Grebneckiella ramachandrani sp. n. (Apicomplexa: Cephalina) from the centipede, Scolopendra morsitans Linne. Acta Protozoologica, 263: 237-244

G. ramachandrani n.sp. from the intestine of S. morsitans collected from the Calicut University Campus, India, is described and its systematic position is discussed. The sporonts measure 2400 x 480 micro m; the protomerite length to total length ratio is 1:14.9 and the protomerite to deutomerite width ratio is 1:1.86; the gametocysts are spherical; dehiscence is by pseudocyst formation.
