, : Groundnut complementary crop in the irrigated areas of the Great Rift Valley of Ethiopia. Proceedings of the second regional groundnut workshop for southern Africa, Harare, Zimbabwe, 10-14 February 1986: 131-135

Sixteen groundnut grown with irrigation in the middle Awash region of the Great Rift Valley of Ethiopia gave 3-year av. pod yields of 455-766 kg/ha; NC4X gave the highest yields followed by Florispan with 696 kg. Florispan is characterized by early maturity and relatively high oil content. An irrigation of 125 mm applied at 2-week intervals gave highest yields.
