Growth attributes and macro chemical constituents as indices of dates and graded phosphorus levels in horse gram (Dolichos biflorus Roxb)

Growth attributes and macro chemical constituents as indices of dates and graded phosphorus levels in horse gram (Dolichos biflorus Roxb)

Journal of Plant Nutrition 10(9/16): 2031

In trials in 1984 and 1985 with D.biflorus (Macrotyloma uniflorum), 4 sowing dates and 3 P levels, early sowing (15 June) significantly increased plant height, leaf number, number of branches and leaf area in both the years and 20 kg P2O5/ha also gave a significant increase in these growth attributes, while highest grain yield was attained with early sowing and 40 kg P2O5/ha during both years.
