Improving feed efficiency by adding mineral supplements to dry feed mixture for carp

Carp, initial weight about 230 g, were kept for 12 weeks in a closed water circulation system at 24 degrees C and given a feed with crude protein (CP) about 44%, with fish meal providing 51.5% of CP. Carp of one group were given additionally 4% of a mineral mixture with phosphorus 133, calcium 228, sodium 84, magnesium 24, manganese 1.22, copper 0.37, cobalt 0.01 and zinc 1.14 g/kg.
