15N was added to the diet given to young rams to study the utilization of nitrogen from N-containing synthetic compounds (NSC). Results showed that NSC not only made up for the N deficiency in the diet but also participated in the formation of muscular tissue and wool. The effective use of NSC depended on the mode of their introduction into the animal.
