Incorporation of 15N into organs and tissues of young rams given different sources of protein

Incorporation of 15N into organs and tissues of young rams given different sources of protein

15N was added to the diet given to young rams to study the utilization of nitrogen from N-containing synthetic compounds (NSC). Results showed that NSC not only made up for the N deficiency in the diet but also participated in the formation of muscular tissue and wool. The effective use of NSC depended on the mode of their introduction into the animal.
