Induced variability in Italian chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.) landrace

Seeds of an Italian landrace were gamma -irradiated (20 krad). M1 progenies segregated for morphological (7.10%) and chlorophyll (9.84%) mutants, and of these, 15% were considered to be of interest for their yield and other agronomic characters.
