For 504 rotationally-crossbred sows, 400-day body weight (i.e. at entry into the farrowing unit) averaged 185.6+or-14.2 kg, body weight at the end of a 35-day suckling period 152.9+or-14.0 kg, litter weight at birth 17.0+or-7.2 kg, number of liveborn piglets per litter 10.38+or-2.96, litter size at weaning 9.47+or-2.69, 21-day litter weight 44.72+or-10.18 kg, percentage of sows producing a 2nd litter 76.2, and percentage of 2nd litters conceived at 1st postfarrowing insemination 68.1.
