Influence of organic and inorganic source of nitrogen on tuber yield of potato in alluvial soils of West Bengal

Influence of organic and inorganic source of nitrogen on tuber yield of potato in alluvial soils of West Bengal

Journal of the Indian Potato Association 12(1/2): 75-77

In field trials in 1981-83 on a sandy loam soil, av. tuber yield of potatoes Kufri Chandramukhi planted in early Dec. and given 100 kg N as urea, 100 kg P2O5 and 0, 50, 100 or 150 kg KO/ha was 16.1, 17.8, 20.9 and 22.4 t/ha with the 4 K rates, resp., compared with 14.3 t/ha without applied nutrients.
