The major concerns expressed in two recent seminars, the Regional Seminar on Co-ordinated Planning and Complementarity between Formal and Non-Formal Education, in Bangkok, 1985; and the Regional Workshop on Non-Formal Education in Asia and the Pacific, organized by the National Institute of Educational Research, in Japan in 1986, are summarized.
