Monosomic analysis of quantitative traits in spring bread wheat using a new series of aneuploids of Milturum 553 (length of stem and top internode)

Monosomic analysis of quantitative traits in spring bread wheat using a new series of aneuploids of Milturum 553 (length of stem and top internode)

Sibirskii Vestnik Sel' skokhozyaistvennoi Nauki 6: 27-33

The 21 hybrids obtained by crossing the monosomic series with Novosibirskaya 67 were evaluated for the length of the stem and the top internode. Results revealed that 'minus' effects for stem length were caused by the presence of chromosomes 1A, 2A, 4A, 5A, 2B, 3B, 5B, 6B, 2D, 3D, 5D and 6D, while 'plus' effects were caused by the presence of 6A, 1B, 4B and 1D.
