The book brings together 20 papers presented at a seminar on Problems of migration in the process of urbanization for Indian and Soviet scholars organized at the Centre of Asean Studies, Osmania University, Hyderabad, in September 1984. The papers have been grouped into five sections, the first three and fifth sections dealing with India, and the fourth delinating the USSR experience.
