The paper deals with pharmacognostic studies of the stem bark of the medicinally important trees Acacia arabica A. auriculiformis, Butea monosperma and Cassia fistula. A detailed study was made of macro- and micromorphology, histo-chemical colour reactions, UV fluorescence characteristics, and physical constants.
